Assessment terms & refund policy

• Scope: the assessment covers only the deliverables listed for the package purchased. It is based on information you supply and is not an audit.
• Pricing: all fees are in GBP. OCTO CAPITAL INVESTMENTS (UK) LTD is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added — the price shown is the total payable.
• Delivery: work begins once payment is confirmed, the NDA is executed and the five essential financial requirements are submitted. Delivery timescales are confirmed by OCTO on review.
• No guarantee: a valuation does not guarantee that OCTO will acquire the business, make a positive offer, introduce a buyer or achieve a sale. Where a business does not meet investment criteria OCTO will issue a reasoned written position.
• Human authorisation: no report, valuation or offer is issued without explicit approval by Michael Robertson, Director.
• Separate fees: valuation fees are separate from any brokerage, consultancy, retainer or success fee, which must be disclosed and agreed in writing before advisory services begin.
• Cancellation & refunds: you may cancel before OCTO begins review of your submitted information for a full refund. Once review has begun, refunds are at OCTO's discretion and proportionate to work completed. Statutory rights for consumers are not affected.
